Once upon a time, I wanted just that; a book of old, traditionally made by hand with the love of the maker imbued into its creation. I wanted a book of shadows. I searched high and low and finally found one. It was pricey but I was willing to meet the demand to gain that which I coveted for so long. The promise of quality craftsmanship and caring vendors lured me in, but much to my dismay this was not to be. I received a book yes, but of inferior quality and lack of workmanship.

Why am I telling you this story? Because this story of disappointment was the foundation of inspiration to create something truly wonderful. I learned the craft of handmade bound books and infused my love for them into each unique tome I make and sell creating a truly superior quality of books at a very competitive price range. All my books are hand bound, not post bound, which means I hand sew each page together using traditional methods and will not move or fall out.

By ordering a book from Cryptic Creations, not only are you getting a traditional styled tome, but the book that you order will be made specifically for YOU. Your book will be fashioned after the Charmed book of spells with the Triquetra symbol (charmed symbol) on the cover or a create your own unique symbol with your personal choice of leather colors. The covers are genuine leather, NOT man-made materials, and average a thickness of 3 to 4 oz, which is very durable and sure to last through the test of time. All my books come with 3 ribbons hand sewn into the spine, NOT glued. The inside front and back covers are hand painted and can be a solid color or a marbled effect. I can do any simple design for the front cover IE: Triquetra, pentagram etc. The color of the symbols will also be of your choosing be it unique colors or the standard color of traditional symbols. The symbols designed and created by you will never be used or sold without your expressed permission. Books are made and sent out in priority sequence by who pays first. Shipping is only done Monday to Friday.
